Other Information: John Brinson was convicted in October of 2006 of first-degree murder in the death of his wife, Marilyn Brinson, whose body was never found. Authorities said Brinson disposed of it near the Missouri River, then tried to destroy evidence by torching a car used in the crime. Clay County Prosecutor Daniel White said physical evidence, DNA and a bloody palm print pointed to Brinson as the murderer.
