On 12/10/2024, at 1653 hours, officers were dispatched to 148 N Lawn Ave on a reported Shooting.  Upon arrival, officers located the male victim in the hallway of the apartment complex suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.  EMS was notified and responded to the scene.  The male victim was transported to a local hospital where he was evaluated.  Several spent shell casings were recovered from the apartment complex.  On 12/26/2024, we received word from KC Hospice (staff) that the male victim succumbed to his injuries.
