Unsolved Homicides
We appreciate witnesses coming forward and providing statements. The Kansas City Missouri Police Department will continue to investigate these and other homicides until the suspects are identified, caught, and the cases are brought to the appropriate prosecutor’s offices. Terrell K. Nance B/M 12/1/1951 Marva Amrine B/F 6-16-1962
Occurred: 6/4/2016 at 0352 hours at 3808 Park
Officers were dispatched on a Shotspotter shots fired car at 0352 hours. Upon
arrival they located an adult male and female shooting victim inside of a Silver Fiat
vehicle, parked on the street in front of 3808 Park. Numerous casings were
observed outside of the vehicle.
A black Jeep Wrangler style vehicle was observed leaving the scene after the
shooting.

Hernandez Green B/M 7/8/1970
59th/ Blue Hillls Rd
The victim responded to the address with a female subject. The victim had also
communicated with a second female subject who responded to the location to
obtain money from the victim. While at the scene the victim contacted a friend
and they talked. The victim and the friend conversed and the while they
conversed they were contacted by the suspect. The suspect began shooting,
striking the victim multiple times. The suspect fled the scene.
Witnesses described the suspect as a black male wearing a black hoodie.

Occurred: 05/29/2016 at 310 Lawndale
On May 29, 2016 officers were dispatched to the address on a shooting. Upon
arrival they found the victim deceased inside the residence.

Occurred: 05/25/2016 at 1128 E. 66th St
On May 25, 2016 officers were dispatched to the address on a shooting. Upon
arrival they found the victim deceased inside a vehicle in the driveway of the
residence.

Tyra Brown B/F 1/27/1997
Occurred: 4/17/2016, 0150 hours, at 4600 Block of Elmwood
Officers were dispatched to the 4600 Block of Elmwood on a reported shooting.
At this location officers were directed to 4613 Elmwood. At this location officers
located numerous shell casing in the driveway. Further south on the block
officers located numerous shell casings. They were also advised a shooting victim
had been transported to a local hospital with a gunshot wound. The shooting
victim was taken by private vehicle to Research Hospital where she died from her
injuries.

Kimberly M. Miles W/F 4-6-1989
Occurred: 4/5/2016, approximately 0100 hours, at 2617 Denver
Officers were dispatched to 2617 Denver in regard to an ambulance in route call.
At this located the officer were directed to the victim who was located in the rear
of the vacant residence. The victim was suffering from a gunshot. The victim was
declared deceased by responding ambulance personnel. During the area canvas
neighbors advised hearing gunshots at around 0100 hours and also at
approximately 0300 hours

Gary E. Cutchlow Sr B/M 11/5/1955
Occurred: 4/4/2016, 1834 hours, at 3235 S. Benton
Officers were dispatched to 3235 S. Benton in regard to a drive-by shooting. At
this location officers were directed to the homicide victim who was on the ground
suffering from a gunshot wound. Officers attempted to perform CPR and the
victim was eventually transported to Truman Medical Center (TMC) where he was
pronounced deceased at approximately 1850 hours.
Witnesses advised the suspects fled east on Linwood from S. Benton in a grey or
blue, 2000 model SUV.

Durron L. Campbell B/M 10/17/1977
Found: 2/13/2016, 1757 hours, at 5418 E. 29th Street
Officers were dispatched to 5418 E. 29th on an Ambulance en route. Upon arrival
the officers were directed to the residence. Upon entering the residence the
officers located the victim deceased in a bedroom suffering from what appeared
to be a gunshot wound. The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Occurred: 02/06/2016 at 7404 Flora
On February 6, 2016 officers were dispatched to the address on a shooting. Upon arrival they found the victim deceased inside a vehicle in the driveway of the residence.

On January 29, 2016 officers were dispatched to the address on a shooting. Upon arrival they found the victim deceased from a gunshot wound.
