Unsolved Homicides
We appreciate witnesses coming forward and providing statements. The Kansas City Missouri Police Department will continue to investigate these and other homicides until the suspects are identified, caught, and the cases are brought to the appropriate prosecutor’s offices. Omar R. Wilson BM 22 YO
On 12/29/15 at 11pm, KCPD officers were dispatched to the 40th block of Agnes on an outside
disturbance. Prior to officer’s arrival the call was updated to a shooting call. Officers arrived and
observed a victim suffering from an apparent gunshot injury. KCFD personnel responded and declared
the victim deceased at the scene.

Teontae Henderson-Johnson B/M 20 YO
On 12-28-2015 at approximately 0015 hours, officers of the Kansas city, MO Police Department
responded to 9347 Bales Drive on a reported shooting. Upon arrival Henderson-Johnson was located
suffering from several gunshot wounds and was transported to a local hospital where he succumbed to
his injuries.

James Townsend B/M 10/27/1933
Occurred: 12/18/2015, approx. 1900 hours, at 2916 Prospect
Officers were dispatched to 2916 Prospect on an ambulance call. Upon arrival the
officer located the victim in the driveway near the rear of the residence. The
victim was a well-liked businessman in the neighborhood. The victim was last
seen leaving his business, The Green Duck, located at 26th and Prospect.

Nicholas C. Walker B/M 4-24-1983
Occurred: 12/18/2015, approx. 2230 hours, at 610 Elmwood
Officers were dispatched to 610 Elmwood on an ambulance en route. Upon
arrival the officers located the victim in a vehicle in front of the dispatched
address. The victim sustained multiple gunshot wounds. Witnesses advised the
suspect were observed walking away from the scene.

Parker Willingham B/M 3/27/1987
Occurred: 12/13/2015, 0415 hours, 3424 Park
Officers were dispatched to 3424 Park in regard to a Shotspotter Shots Fired call.
Upon arrival officers located the victim lying unresponsive in the driveway of the
dispatched address. The victim sustained multiple gunshot wounds.

Laurence A. McCauley B/M 1/22/1980
Occurred: 12/07/2015, approx. 0300 hours at 4310 E. 25th Street
Officers were dispatched to the listed location in regard to a Medical Nature
Unknown. Upon arrival, officers located the victim seated in the driver’s side seat
slumped over toward the passenger seat. The victim sustained multiple gunshot
wounds. The victim was declared deceased at the scene.

William Maze B/M 01/28/1957
Occurred: 11/30/2015 at 4511 Virginia
On 11/30/2015 Officers were dispatched to the listed address on a disturbance. Upon
arrival they found the victim lying in the front yard of the residence deceased. The
witness heard the victim scuffling with the suspect and observed the suspect flee the
residence. The victim died as a result of a stab wound.

Frank R. Beasley B/M 22 YO
Occurred: 11/04/2015 at 1035 hours @ Location: 7439 Lydia
Officers were dispatched to the location on a reported shooting call. Upon arrival, officers
located the victim who had sustained an apparent gunshot wound. The victim died of his
injuries.

Vernae N. Watson BF 23
Occurred: 11/01/2015 at 2205 hours @ Location: E. Bannister Rd and Hillcrest Rd.
Officers were dispatched to the location on a reported shooting call. The victim was a
passenger in a vehicle, officers located the victim who had sustained an apparent gunshot
wound. The victim was transported from the scene to an area hospital where she died of her
injuries.

Jose A. Urias, H/M 10/22/1991
Occurred: 10-15-2015, 0011 hours at 46th Terr. and Cleveland
Patrol officers responded on an outside disturbance party armed with a weapon
at 46th and Cleveland. The call was later updated to a sound of shots call at 4710
Cleveland, just north. At the location the officers located the victim on the south
west corner of 46th Terr. and Cleveland. The victim was located on the ground
unresponsive. The victim was observed to be suffering from a gunshot wound
and EMS responded. The victim was declared deceased.
