We appreciate witnesses coming forward and providing statements. The Kansas City Missouri Police Department will continue to investigate these and other homicides until the suspects are identified, caught, and the cases are brought to the appropriate prosecutor’s offices. Tevin D. Thrower B/M 02-21-1993
Occurred – 12-31-2014 @ 1351 hours, 1303 E. 82nd Terrace
On 12-31-2014 at 1351 hours, Officers of the Kansas City Missouri Police
Department were dispatched to 1303 E. 82nd Terrace where the victim had been
discovered deceased inside his apartment. The victim, who had two jobs did not
show up for work and had not been heard from, which was very unusual. There is
no suspect description. The Homicide Unit is asking the community to come
forward with any information which may assist in solving the murder of Tevin
Thrower.

Nicholas R. Preuitt W/M 01/02/1987
OCCURRED – 12/28/2014 @ 0250 HOURS / 151 E. 13TH STREET (PARKING
GARAGE IN THE POWER AND LIGHT DISTRICT)
On 12/28/14 at approximately 0250 hours, Officers of the Kansas City, Missouri Police
Department were called to a parking structure in the Power and Light District where they
discovered the victim deceased from an apparent gunshot wound in the passenger seat of a
black pickup truck. The suspect(s) fled in a dark colored SUV.

Ronald Shelton B/M 03/23/1975
Occurred: 10/26/14, @ 40th and Pennsylvania
Victim was walking to the Westport area when the suspect had words
with him. The suspect then pulled out a gun and began shooting at the
victim. A second suspect also began shooting at the victim. Both
suspects got into a White Pontiac Bonneville that was being driven by a
third male.

Gary Wortham B/M 07/15/1989
Occurred: 10/23/14, 1635 hours @ 34th and Central
Witnesses observed a vehicle strike a fence and then observed the
victim exit the vehicle with gunshot wounds. The victim died at an area
hospital. Three black males were seen running from the victim’s
vehicle.

Stephon Cunningham B/M 01-12-1994
On 08-10-2014 at approximately 0211 hours, uniformed Officers of the Kansas City,
Missouri Police Department were in the area of Southwest Blvd & Broadway, Kansas City,
Jackson County, Missouri when they heard what they believed to be multiple gun shots.
Upon approaching the intersection, Officers observed three victims with apparent gunshot
wounds. The victims were transported to an area hospital and one of the victims succumbed
to his injuries.

Adrian Reed W/M 2/3/1971
On July 23, 2014 at 8:54 p.m., the victim, Adrian Reed, drove to the
intersection of Bannister/James A. Reed. The victim was waiting in the
left turn lane at a red light and the suspect vehicle, a dark colored
SUV, was in the lane next to the victim’s vehicle. An unknown suspect
fired multiple shots at the victim; the suspect vehicle then fled the
scene. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

Occurred: 7-17-14, 2130 hours @ 6907 Bellefontaine
On 7-17-14 at approximately 2130 hours, Officers of the Kansas City Missouri Police Department were
dispatched to 69th and Bellefontaine Ave. in regard to sound of shots. While enroute, the call was
updated to a shooting at 6907 Bellefontaine, with the victim having been transported to an area hospital
where he died of his injuries.

Hernandez Green B/M 11/19/1987
Occurred: 6/30/14, 2140 hours @ 4516 Park
Victim was leaving the residence when suspects drove up the street
and shot from a vehicle. Witnesses provided the suspect vehicle was a
Silver Pontiac G6.

Freddie Relefprd B/M 2-1-59
FREDDIE RELEFORD WAS FOUND SHOT TO DEATH IN AN
ALLEY NEAR 42ST AND BROOKLYN DURING THE EARLY
MORNING HOURS OF 6-3-14.

Occurred: 5/10/14, @ 3232 Harrison
Victim was found deceased inside his apartment. Witnesses advised
they had last seen the victim on Thursday, May 8th.
